Peter Pan / Petar Pan / 2005

Text by J. M. Barrie

J.M. Barrie’s story follows Wendy Darling and her brothers as Peter Pan flies them out of the nursery to Neverland — a place built entirely around never having to grow up, complete with pirates, a ticking crocodile and a fairy running low on belief.Marija Stojanović’s dramatization and songs turn Barrie’s story into a musical stage adventure, keeping its more bittersweet undertow — Peter’s forgetting, growing older as loss — alongside the swashbuckling.Directed by Kokan Mladenović, the production premiered at the Little Theatre Duško Radović in Belgrade in 2005.
