Drunk / Pijani / 2016

Ivan Vyrypaev’s play follows a group of drunk strangers through one night, as alcohol strips away their usual defenses and turns loose conversation into something closer to confession.

Writing about the production for Sterijino pozorje’s Scena journal, critic Radivoje Dinulović pointed to the costume design as a unifying visual language across very different characters, giving the director and cast room for physical comedy built around clothing itself.

Directed by Boris Liješević, the production premiered at Atelje 212 in Belgrade in February 2016.
